Our Story
We have seen children, teens, and even adults step onto real ice for the first time — slipping, falling, holding the boards, unsure of what to do next.

Parents stand outside the rink wanting to help, but unable to skate themselves. What should be an exciting first experience often becomes frustration, embarrassment, or fear.

We believed it could begin differently.

Ice Penguin was born from a simple idea: Start like a penguin — small, steady, and safe — before gliding with confidence.

Instead of placing beginners into full-sized rinks without structure, we created a controlled environment — a 1,000 sqft synthetic ice training space designed for progression.

A place where children, teens, and adults can build balance, coordination, and confidence step by step before transitioning onto real ice.

We believe strong fundamentals build not just stronger athletes, but stronger confidence.

Through ice skating, ice hockey, and figure skating, we open doors to unique winter sports — giving children, teens, and adults the opportunity to explore something new, grow in confidence, and be part of a supportive community.

Led by our Head Coach, a former SEA Games medalist & national ice hockey player.

Supported by the Nature Kindred - a family plaform dedicated to designing meanful experiences and educational journeys.

Together, we design Ice Penguin.
